What are Clinical Trials?
Clinical trials are research studies that explore the efficacy and safety of new medical strategies, treatments or devices. These studies follow strict scientific standards that protect patients and help produce reliable study results. A clinical trial may find that a new strategy, treatment or device either a) improves patient outcomes, b) offers no benefit, or c) causes unexpected harm.
